I met Zahid on the Greek Island Kos. I was there to make a research for a photographic project about refugees who are coming over the sea from Turkey.
Zahid is from Afghanistan and was waiting with his cousin and a friend for their papers to go on with the journey. We talked a lot with each other. After we exchanged our Facebook contacts, we started to chat nearly every day and since he reached Germany I visited him in his camp regularly.
